Payment & Policies

Sessions

Clients are usually seen on a weekly basis, but this can vary depending on an individual’s needs and personal schedule.  Sessions are 45 -50 minutes long and are expected to begin and end on time.

Insurance

Because my clients have expressed concerns about confidentiality and I want to be able to choose the treatment approach that I believe is best for an individual’s needs, I no longer participate in insurance programs.  However, most insurance plans provide for out-of-network providers, and you may be able to receive reimbursement for your therapy sessions.  Check with your insurance company to find out what your plan covers.  Or, if you prefer, I would be happy to call them for you to obtain that information.  I will provide you with a receipt that has all the necessary information, which you can then submit to your insurance company to obtain reimbursement.

Payment

Rates are agreed before we begin your therapy, generally during your free initial consultation. Payment is expected at the time of your session and is payable in cash, check, credit or debit card.

Cancellation Policy

Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or broken will be billed at the full fee.
